Milk Makeup Sunshine Skin Tint Review

Product Information
This foundation retails for 56cad and contains 16ml of product.
According to the brand, this is “a clean, silicone-free skin tint with light coverage, a weightless feel, and moisturizing natural oils for a dewy finish”
The key ingredients are :
- Grapeseed, Avocado, Mandarin, Jojoba, and Olive Oils, which help moisturize the skin for a dewy, glowing finish.
- Olive-Derived Squalane 3.6% which seals in moisture and supplies beneficial antioxidants.
Finally, this product is vegan and cruelty-free and is available on Sephora.ca.
Packaging 3.5/5
First of all, this product comes in really cute packaging that is recyclable and refillable. It has a rollerball type of dispenser, which according to the brand, is airtight and prevents oxidization. You actually have to press on the pump which is situated at the bottom for the foundation to come out.
After that, you can just use it directly on your skin which I am not a big fan of considering it’s not hygienic but I will admit that it’s practical and easy. Plus, you can definitely clean the rollerball, so that’s cool. In general, I love how pretty the packaging is and the fact that it’s eco-friendly. The latter is a big plus!
Finally, it does contain just 16ml of product, so if you’re a daily user of skin tints, you’ll empty this product in a heartbeat. In my case, I apply this type of product maybe once a week only. It’s been 6 months since I got it and it’s still pretty full.
Formula 4/5
Concerning the formula, the skin tint performs so beautifully. It truly is a “your skin but better” type of product. I love how glowy and even it makes my skin. The amount of coverage it gives is just perfect. It’s a skin tint, so it offers very sheer coverage. Enough to even out your skin tone but not enough to cover your imperfections and feel heavy, which I love. Throughout the day, it stays pretty well on the skin. It locks in well hydration but at the same time, it does not make the skin look very oily and shiny.
Conclusion – Milk Makeup Sunshine Skin Tint Review 7.5/10
To conclude, I really love this product. The packaging is amazing and it performs so beautifully on the skin. Nonetheless, I hate that it contains so little product for such a high price tag and the refill cartridge retails for 43cad, which is very expensive.
That’s it for today. Thank you so much for passing by. I hope you enjoyed reading this review. If you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to subscribe to my blog, it would mean the world to me!
