Happy Wednesday⛅️! Today, I am sharing with you my supergoop sunscreen review. If you hadn’t noticed, I took a little break for 2 weeks because I had to focus on my studies. I was a little behind on my thesis so I just wanted to catch up. I actually sent the first part of my thesis to my teacher last night. I am just waiting for her to correct it so I can move on to the next step which is the interviews and the analysis. I am hoping that this part won’t take more than 3 months to complete. I actually have till September to finish my thesis, so I am good ✌️.
Anyway, if you want to know my honest thoughts on this sunscreen, then keep on reading. Don’t forget to check out my previous post: REVIEW // Brazilian Bum Bum Cream by Sol De Janeiro.
Supergoop sunscreen review
Product Information

This sunscreen retails for 22$ and contains 71ml or 2.4fl. oz. of product. The product is also available in 30ml (1 fl oz), 162ml (5.5fl oz) and 532ml (18 fl oz)!
According to the brand, this lotion is “a fast-absorbing, non-greasy, water and sweat-resistant, and broad-spectrum SPF 50 lotion for face and body.” It’s ideal to target dryness, and is coral-reef safe. The brand also claims that it is lightweight and is perfect to protect your skin from UVA and UVB rays.
The key ingredients are :
Sunflower Extract: Rich in beta carotene and helps protect your skin from external environmental elements.
Rosemary Leaf Extract: Has a calming effect on the skin and is rich in antioxidants.
Finally, the product is vegan and cruelty-free, and it is available at Sephora.ca and Supergoop.com
Packaging 4/5

The product comes in a white squeezable tube with yellow touches and blue font. The closure is actually yellow and is a rotative cap. So, you basically have to rotate to open it which is pretty standard. It’s a very cute packaging, but nothing that stands out or that makes me in love with it. Now, on another note, the brand claims to be clean but they don’t mention whether their ingredients are ethically sourced and their packaging doesn’t seem to be very eco-friendly. You can always empty the product and recycle it.
Formula 2.5/5
Concerning the formula, I am actually not a big fan of this SPF. Unlike what it claims, I feel like the lotion is very heavy on the skin and feels very greasy. After applying it, I always felt disgusting and like a heavy layer of cream sat on my skin. It was uncomfortable. I also really dislike that it makes the skin look shiny. I don’t know what’s the deal with that. Like I am looking for a regular sunscreen and I end up with a highlighter 😂!
It’s not the worst sunscreen I have ever tried, but it’s not the best! I do admit that it’s very hydrating. So if you have dry skin, you might like this!
Conclusion – Supergoop sunscreen review 6.5/10
To conclude, I don’t think I’ll ever repurchase this product. I really dislike how it performs on the skin. It’s heavy and makes me look like a disco ball. I think I’ll keep using on my body, but that’s the extent of it!
That’s it for today. Thank you so much for passing by. I hope you enjoyed reading this review. If you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to subscribe to my blog, it would mean the world to me!

I never heard of this brand actually. Although packing looks really interesting, I believe that formula is not that great. Most SPF’s are heavy on skin and really shiny. It’s so hard to find good one, I’m still looking for perfect face SPF. Lovely review. xx
