Packaging 3.5/5

First Aid Beauty Body Scrub review

Packaging-wise, this body scrub is pretty standard. It comes in a squeezable plastic bottle, it looks purple and has First Aid Beauty’s typical patterns drawn on it. The packaging is extremely practical and easy to use however it’s not eco-friendly at all and let’s be honest, it’s not that pretty 😂.

Formula 4.5/5

Concerning the formula, this body scrubs performs exceptionally well. It’s extremely gentle yet thouroughly exfoliates the skin. It manages to remove all of the buildup dead skin and makes my skin extremely soft and smooth. Moreover, it brightens my skin, makes it looks very healthy and does not dry it out at all. It’s all fragrance-free which is amazing for sensitive skin and for those who cannot stand fragrance.

On another note, it contains some really interesting ingredients like vitamin E to nourish the skin and protect it from hazardous environment or pumice which is biodegradable and extremely effective at exfoliating the skin. I also love that it contains glycolic and lactic acids because both are chemical exfoliators that deeply penetrate your skin and gently exfoliate it on the long term.

On a negative note, the texture of the scrub feels extremely weird and uncomfortable. I don’t know how to describe it exactly but this is how I feel when I apply it all over my body.

Conclusion – First Aid Beauty Body Scrub 8/10

To conclude, I really love this scrub. It does a pretty well job at exfoliating my skin however I don’t like how it feels on my body. The texture is very weird and let’s be honest, it’s not the prettiest looking body scrub. It does not offer a pleasant bath experience and I know this is not what a lot of people look for in a body scrub but this is what I personally want. In general, I highly recommend it because the formula is truly amazing but personally, I wouldn’t purchase it again (I think).

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this review. If you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to subscribe to my blog.

I didn’t use body scrub in long time. I kinda went to shower puffs and just regular shower gel. I feel like I go through body scrubs too fast and it’s just not eco friendly to always repurchase them. It’s amazing that this body scrub doesn’t dry out your skin, it’s definitely very hard to find that in body scrub. Lovely review. xx

ohh I totally understand, I like that this one is eco-friendly but you’re definitely right, if it doesn’t come in a eco-friendly packaging, it’s such a waste and bad for the environment!! Thank you for passing by 😍💜
