Happy Wednesday! Today, I am sharing with you my Master Metals Eyeshadow Palette review by Makeup By Mario. I’ve literally had my eyes on this palette since Mario released his full collection. To me, it’s extremely unique and beautiful so I really wanted it. I finally decided to get it during Sephora’s VIB sales. I said to myself that if I wanted this expensive palette, might as well get it when it’s on sale 😂.
Now, if you want to know my honest thoughts on this product, then keep on reading. Don’t forget to check out my previous post: 3 MAKEUP LOOKS, 1 PALETTE // She’s In Parties by Melt Cosmetics.
Master Metals Eyeshadow palette review
This palette retails for 48$ (64CA$) and contains 0.25oz/1.5g of product. It comes with 5 metallic shades with a gel powder formula “that deliver intense, high-metal shine and liquid-foil effects inspired by Earth’s natural metals”
According to the brand, it is “packed with superfine iridescent pearls, it’s formulated with a gel-powder technology that offers silky, weightless color.” You can apply these shades straight to your lids, dry, or transform each one of them into a liquid foil with the Master Metal Manipulator.
The eyeshadows are hosted in a sleek, minimal, and glossy white compact pan with a removable pan (where you can mix the eyeshadows), a mirror, and a magnetic closure. Moreover, the palette comes in a black cardboard packaging with an also sleek and minimal look. In general, the packaging is beautiful but I am not a big fan of the white color. In fact, I feel like it cheapens the palette and it makes it easier to get it messy. I would have loved it if the compact was black like the cardboard, that would have been so much prettier!
Concerning the formula, the eyeshadows perform like a dream. The colors appear to be richer and more metallic when used with a wet brush, but nevertheless, they are still extremely pigmented, bendable, and long-lasting when used dry. Moreover, the eyeshadows are extremely metallic and shiny so they look beautiful regardless of the method of application.
With the manipulator, the eyeshadows can be used as eyeliners which I absolutely love. When they turn into this foiled formula, the eyeshadows dry pretty quickly and apply very smoothly and evenly on the eyes.
Concerning the color story, these universal shades look absolutely stunning and are a beautiful addition to my collection. In fact, they are the basic metallic colors that I think everyone should have in their collection. This palette can be paired with so many different eyeshadow palettes, these shades just complement any eye makeup look!
Conclusion – Master Metals Eyeshadow Palette review 9.5/10
To conclude, this palette is an absolute dream and a must-have in a makeup enthusiasts’ collection. The eyeshadows perform so beautifully and can be used in diverse ways. The color story is also gorgeous and forms the basis of metallic shades. This is definitely a pretty expensive palette and if you don’t need it, I don’t think you should get it. However, it’s still a wonderful product that is worth the high price tag, in my opinion.
