Hello and happy Wednesday! Today, I am sharing with you 10 Halloween makeup ideas to try this year. I actually did a similar post last year so don’t hesitate to check it out. I shared with you some really fun ideas that will not be included in this post: 10 HALLOWEEN MAKEUP IDEAS FOR 2019. I also don’t include the makeup looks I am creating this year for my blog so make sure to check those out!
Now, don’t forget to check out my previous post: HALLOWEEN MAKEUP LOOK // Goddess Of The Underworld and let’s get into it!
10 Halloween Makeup Ideas For 2020
Beetlejuice

The first makeup look that I think is fun to recreate this Halloween is the iconic Beetlejuice. Not only is the character a typical Halloween character, but it can also be super easy to create. In fact, a touch of green and purple eyeshadow can do the job. Your imagination is the only limit.
Harley Quinn

The second look on my list is the one and only blue and red makeup look of Harley Quinn! Ever since Suicide Squad came out, Margo Robbie’s Harley Quin has been an inspiration for Halloween looks, and for a good reason. Her look is totally iconic and she nails her character from A to Z! Of course, you can still go with the classic Harley Quinn look from the comics and I personally love that one more so it’s totally up to you!
Sanderson Sisters

The third look on my list is one of the Sanderson sisters from the iconic movie “Hocus Pocus”. I absolutely love this movie. It does not represent my community (witches) in the best way but who cares, it’s a fun and entertaining movie and the three witch sisters are absolutely amazing! Now, these looks rely more on the costumers and hair than on the makeup so you will need more than just lipstick and eyeliner to become a Sanderson sister!
Broken Doll

The fourth look in this list is a broken doll. I actually did this look two years ago and it was so fun to create. It’s a relatively easy makeup look to do and there’s nothing more creepy than Porcelain dolls. You just need black and white liquid eyeliner to create the cracks and some brown and black eyeshadow to create the shadows!
Mean Girls Burn Book

Next on my list is this really creative Mean Girls look and that is dressing up as the Burn Book from the movie. This is such a fun look to create and it is extremely unique. You can definitely achieve the look without the blood but I think the blood gives it a more twisted and dark side. In general, this look is pretty easy to do, you just need lots of pink face paint and dor the lettering, you can easily just rip some from a magazine.
Sol and Mani

The sixth Halloween makeup look is recreating the Norse Goddess of the Sun: Sol and the Norse God of the Moon: Mani. Both are personifications of the moon and the sun and are mythical characters so their look is not really defined. Hence, you can just imagine how the sun or the moon would look like in person and create something out of that. These two photos above are just inspirations. I actually would totally imagine these looks together, in one.
Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas

The seventh Halloween makeup look in this list is another iconic character created by the Halloween king, Tim Burton: Sally. The Nightmare Before Christmas obviously contains a lot of amazing characters to get inspired from for Halloween but Sally is truly the most memorable one (with Jack, of course) with her blue skin, red hair, and stitched skin.
Wicked Witch Of The West

Next on my list is the classic green witch from the Wizard of Oz. This look is very intense but can be done in so many different ways. Personally, I’d go with the fancy and glamorous Wicked Witch but you can totally create something scarier and more spooky! Again, your imagination is the only limit! In general, you only need some green face paint and a pointy hat!
Spooky Freckles

The ninth look on my list is relatively simple and it’s more for the people who don’t feel like dressing up as something specific: it’s the Halloween edition freckles. So basically, you can draw small spiders or any spooky insects or animals (Bats, for instance) across your nose to make it look like freckles. I absolutely love this and will definitely recreate it after Halloween – every day is Halloween for me!
Demon

Last but not least, is the classic red demon look. Like the wicked witch of the west makeup look, you can either go for glamour and fancy demon (like I did) or you can go with a scarier and more spooky demon. It’s totally up to you, you only need red face paint and horns!

I’m always so blown away how some people are talented with makeup, truly art form. I’m never this patient to sit for hours trying to so something this complicated, but I love looking at these looks so much. xx

yess there are truly talented people out there, the ones I shared in this post are some of the ones that truly inspire me! Also, I love doing makeup but I can be impatient sometimes so sitting for hours is too much 😂 the maximum time I’ve ever spent doing a makeup look was 2hours and that was enough for me 😂
