REVIEW // Snap Shadows Mix & Match Eyeshadow palette by Fenty Beauty

Hello, my lovely pumpkins! Today, I am sharing with you my Fenty Beauty snap shadows review. The story of how I got this palette is pretty simple. I was walking at Sephora and spotted it in the Fenty Beauty section and while I was not supposed to buy anything I didn’t need, I broke and purchased it on a whim! And, let’s be honest, after having it for a couple of weeks, I still believe I didn’t need to purchase it but well, at least, I can write a review on it!

Now, if you want to know my honest thought on this palette, then keep on reading! Don’t forget to check out my previous post: FASHION TRENDS OF FALL 2020

Fenty Beauty Snap shadows Review

Product Information

This palette retails for 25$ and is available in 10 different color schemes. I have the palette 10, a-k-a “Money”, which is one of the newest ones, and that offers a green color palette.

It offers 6 beautiful eyeshadows: Phat Pockets is a gorgeous metallic emerald green shade with cool undertones. Need Receipts is a very metallic light golden green. Thyme is money is a bright lime green shade in a matte finish. Rubbadandz is a muted olive-brown shade with a matte finish and warm undertone. Direct Deposit is a metallic medium green shade with a cool undertone and golden reflect. Flash Money is a true metallic yellow gold with a warm undertone

The brand describes this product as “a portable mini eyeshadow palette of six shades in a range of matte to shimmer finishes; use them solo or snap any two palettes together for your own custom combo”.

This palette is cruelty-free and it is available at Sephora or Fenty Beauty’s official website.

Packaging 4/5

These eyeshadows come in a beautiful and sleek white hard plastic packaging with the logo and number “10” written on the top. Overall, the packaging looks very cute and is pretty simple. I do love how the brand designed the number of each palettes, like a spray paint. I think it’s very cute and adds something fun to an otherwise pretty simple packaging.

On another note, I love how practical the palette is. It has a pretty good size to travel around with and comes with a mirror. I always love that!

Formula 3/5

Concerning the formula, these eyeshadows perform well but not amazing, I would say. The matte shades have a decent pigmentation and blend beautifully on the eyes, they feel extremely soft and buttery. On the other hand, the metallic shades are a bit off to me. The pigmentation is good but they do feel a bit chalky and dry. The shades “Need Receipts” and “Direct deposit” have a horrible pigmentation, in my opinion. I really feel like I have to dig in to have a good payoff.

I do absolutely love the color palette of this product. It’s definitely colors that I would use on a daily basis, literally. I have a big obsession with green eyeshadows and for that, that palette is amazing!

Conclusion – Fenty Beauty Snap Shadows review 7/10

To conclude, I think this palette is fine, formula-wise. I definitely think I can make these eyeshadows work and I can create a beautiful look with it. The colour palette is absolutely stunning and I totally see myself using it for a long time! However, I don’t think this encouraged me to try more of Fenty Beauty’s eyeshadow products because of the average formula!

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this review. If you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to subscribe to my blog.

I never use green because it looks horrible on my eyes but the other palette that came out this fall, the burgundy one looks so pretty! I like how tiny they are
