Fall Fashion Trends 2020 👠

Faux Leather

The first trend on my list is faux leather and I know that it’s a very recurrent trend and faux leather jackets never go out of style really. But, this season, it’s literally everywhere and not just for jackets. What I’ve been seeing a lot of are the faux leather shirts. They’re extremely trendy this fall and can be styled in so many different ways. Pants, skirts, dresses, and coats in faux leather have also been wildly popular lately. As a matter of fact, Vogue states that Keanu Reeves’s coat in The Matrix is a statement piece that made its appearance in diverse shows with Fendi and Versace for instance.

Puffy Sleeves

Next on my list is this really fun one and it is the puffy sleeves, which Vogue likes to call the “balloon affair”. I am actually extremely obsessed with the look of a top or a dress with puffy sleeves, not the extravagant balloon look that Vogue showcases in their article but the more subtle puffiness that looks more adequate for everyday wear and that makes any outfit look more romantic.

Cardigan

The third trend that I’ve been seeing a lot lately in stores but also, on Instagram and Pinterest is cardigans. Yes, cardigans are trendy this season and can be worn in many different ways. I love layering cardigans with turtlenecks but they can also look amazing alone as well. Long cardigans can easily be styled with a belt, for example. Moreover, according to Vogue, they were actually spotted in many different runaways looks with Dolce & Gabbana, Chloé, Fendi, and even Miu Miu.

Sweater Vest

The fourth trend, which you probably already know of, is the sweater vest. This item is literally everywhere on social media. Everyone is wearing it, everyone is obsessed with it and everyone is rocking it. I personally love it because it’s a gorgeous item to layer and it adds something extra to an otherwise boring outfit. I have often seen fashion influencers wearing them over a shirt, shirt dresses but also t-shirts and light sweaters. They are extremely versatile!

Flat Chunky boots

The fifth trend on my list is the flat chunky boots and I totally fell for this one because I recently bought myself a pair of huge black boots from H&M and I love them so much. They look so good with literally anything. Jeans, skirts, dresses, shorts. And, they make any outfit look very edgy, which I love!

The Boys Look

The second to last trend is the “boys look” and that is wearing man’s clothes…especially oversized shirts and suits. Delving into men’s fashion is one of my favorite things to do. Men have literally the best graphic t-shirts but also, men’s clothes look good on women…please! One recurrent look that I have seen is wearing an oversized shirt, with an oversized blazer and suit pants. Many women have been rocking this look!

Tennis Skirt

The last trend I want to mention is the tennis skirt. I literally saw this skirt everywhere on Instagram, and to be honest, I am tempted to buy myself one. It’s extremely cute but can be worn in so many different ways and styles. I am actually loving pairing it with oversized sweaters with a shirt under and the collar peeking through. But they can look good with any top really and any sweater.

That’s it! My trends for fall 2020

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed this post and if you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to follow my blog.
