Hello everyone💕! Today, I am sharing with you my Charlotte Tilbury setting powder review! Before I start, I just want to say that my thoughts and prayers are with the people in Lebanon who suffered from the huge blast a couple of days ago and who are still suffering from the incompetence of our government. I am happy and grateful that my family and friends are safe. I know that some other people were not that lucky and I really hope that my post is not coming off as insensitive. I try my best to make this blog my part-time job so I need to go back to my routine.
Now, lets’ get into this review. Don’t forget to check out my previous post: REVIEW // Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner by First Aid Beauty
Charlotte Tilbury setting powder review
Product Information
This setting powder retails for 45$ and comes with 8g/ 0.28oz of product. It is available in 4 shades and I have the shade medium 2.
Charlotte Tilbury describes this product as “an ultra-fine setting powder that blurs imperfections and visibly reduces shine”. It claims to have a smoothing-effect and to reduce the appearance of pores while keeping your skin matte.
The product is cruelty-free and it is available at Sephora and Charlotte Tilbury’s official website.
Packaging 4.5/5
The pressed powder comes in a extremely luxurious and beautiful rose gold packaging, true to Charlotte Tilbury’s aesthetic. I really love how this product looks and the details in the packaging. It also comes with a mirror and is pretty compact and easy to travel-with. I also love that it’s not a loose powder but a pressed powder instead. It makes the application much easier and less messy, in my opinion.
Formula 3.5/5
Now concerning the formula, this powder performs pretty well and I would consider it to be a good powder however it does not perform as wonderfully as it claims…or like I want to. First of all, it can feel cakey and heavy if you apply too much of it. Second of all, it sets well the concealer and foundation however it does not mattify the skin whatsoever. You actually need to apply several coats in order to fully mattify or even set your makeup but if you apply too much of it, it feels cakey…see the dilemma? Moreover, It worked wonderfully when I paired it with my lightweight concealer by Milk Makeup but it did not work well with my Hourglass concealer. Together, they felt so heavy and intense.
On another hand, I love using it on my no makeup days when I just need to powder my skin a bit to set my tinted moisturizer. It works amazingly that way.
Conclusion – Charlotte Tilbury setting powder review 8/10
To conclude, I think this product is great and I will keep using it until I hit-pan it. However, I definitely do not think it is worth the high price and I do not feel comfortable recommending it. I think my glossier powder does the job and even better. And, my glossier powder actually works with all of my concealers, not just some. I don’t know why Charlotte tilbury products are not working on me as well as it works on other people. It sucks. I paid for that shit😂.
That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this review. If you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to subscribe to my blog.

CT always has such a pretty packing, I feel like that makes people more interested in her brand. I feel like her brand is a little bit over priced, I wish her prices are a bit lower, then I would definitely buy something from her brand. As long as I have affordable Catrice makeup, I don’t feel like I need anything this expensive, I would love it, but I just can’t make myself spend so much haha. Lovely review as always dear. xx

I love that you recommended a more affordable alternative, Joy! This sounds okay, but for that price point you really want more than okay – i shall check out glossier’s version though! xx
