Hollywood Flawless Filter review
Product Information
This liquid highlighter contains 30ml/ 1.0oz of product and retails for 44$ (53cad). It is available in 7 shades, I have the shade 3 medium/light (neutral peach for light to medium skin tones).
Charlotte Tilbury describes this product as “a liquid tinted complexion booster for a superstar youthful glow”. According to the brand, the product is extremely flexible and is customizable. It can be used as a primer, highlighter or it can be mixed in with your foundation to get a glowy finish. This product contains “ingredients help to soften focus, illuminate skin, and make lines and pores appear smoother”.
This product is of course cruelty-free and it is available at Sephora and Charlotte Tilbury’s official website.
Packaging 4.5/5
This liquid highlighter comes in the most luxurious and beautiful packaging I’ve ever seen (I probably say that all the time but seriously). It comes in a glass bottle which is great for the environment and feels expensive. It comes with a doe applicator which I love to apply such a liquidy product. For the price, the packaging is superior. It feels very heavy and luxurious. I love the details on the bottle and how I love how it feels when I hold it. On top of that, it looks gorgeous in pictures. I have to add though that it does not come in the most travel-friendly packaging but I don’t think it can break easily.
Formula 3/5
Concerning the formula, the product gives this gorgeous dewy finish and makes your base look so glowy when worn under foundation. It also gives you this gorgeous glow from beneath look, which I love! Furthermore, it blends beautifully and effortlessly. I also love applying as a regular highlighter. It looks absolutely stunning!
On a negative note, it can look extremely cakey and oily when you apply too much of it and it can feel very heavy. Moreover, I definitely think this product is not meant for oily skin types because of how oily it is. But it is definitely ideal for dry to normal skin!
Another negative thing I want to point out is that the shade range is horrible. The shade that I chose is way too peachy/pinky for my liking. And, I know that this is how the shade is described but it’s not as if I had other appropriate shades to choose from. The shade range is so limited in tones and undertones. It feels underwhelming and cheap.
I feel like this product is a hit and miss depending on your skin type and what you prefer. And, with a really high price tag, it’s easy not to like it 😛.

Conclusion – Hollywood flawless filter review 7.5/10
To conclude, I enjoyed using this product. It’s very aesthetic and it feels luxurious when I use it. Moreover, it gives this gorgeous glow on the skin. However, it feels heavy on the skin and can look oily and cakey. I also find that it’s a useless product. It looks pretty and has a gorgeous finish when you know how to use it. But, let’s be honest, it’s pointless. Completely pointless.
That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this review. If you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to subscribe to my blog.

These sort of products are really popular, but I definitely agree with claim that it’s useless. I have so many of these glow boosting products, but honestly I never reach for them as I wear powder highlighter every day and achieve that glowy look with just powder highlighter. Lovely review. xx

yess totally!!! thank you so much ❤️
I really like this product. I don’t find it cakey at all (I have oily/combo skin) but I mostly use it on its own for light makeup or as a highlight primer. Not completely necessary but it keeps powder highlight looking nicer for longer on me x

Yeah i undertsand. I don’t know why I don’t like it that much. I just think it’s overhyped for the price and for what it does. I still enjoy using it though 😍
Yeahh haha I think that about CT products in general. They feel nice and lux to use but if they were like half the price I’d feel more comfortable recommending them 😅

hahaha very true!
I really want to try this! I would probably use it in my light makeup day, not that I really use heavy foundations but i think it would be great with my new dior foundation
