Glossier Cloud Paint review

Product information

This product contains 10ml of product and retails for 18$. It is available in 6 shades. I have the shades “Storm” which is a warm rose shade and “Dawn” which is a sunny coral shade.

Glossier describes this product as a “seamless cheek colour”. It is lightweight and has “pillowy” formula that blends very easily on the cheeks and that gives a natural plumped look. Moreover, glossier claims it works on several different skin tones. The brand actually advices to apply with finger tips, and to lightly dap it into the skin. It’s supposed to be easy and effortless!

The product is fragrance-free, cruelty-free and is available on Glossier’s website.

Packaging 4.5/5

This cream blush comes in a small white paint tube packaging with the top part taking the colour of the chosen shade. The packaging is extremely cute and so aesthetic. It definitely represents well a “cloud paint”. On top of that, it’s very practical and easy to handle and it is travel-friendly which I always appreciate! The only negative thing I’ll have to say about this packaging is that it’s hard to control how much product you squeeze out of the tube. I always end up with more than I need, which sucks but I guess, I’ll have to get used to it.

Formula 4.5/5

Moving on to the formula, this cream-gel blush performs like a dream. It is very easy to blend and is quite pigmented, so a little bit goes a long way. Plus, it’s very buildable and does not look patchy whatsoever. It blends evenly and beautifully on the skin. You can easily go over board with it so just go easy with it.
On another note, it has a beautiful natural finish, it makes your skin look so plumed but it’s not shiny or glossy. It just does not make your skin look flat, which I always love cause I dislike matte blushes. They always make your skin look so dull and boring, in my opinion.  On top of that, it does not enhance any texture on the skin and is pretty long lasting!

Lastly, it’s a bit hard to get used to this gel-cream formula cause you can easily put too much or not blend it in the right place but once you get the hang of it, they are awesome. I recommend using your fingers but if you want to take the colour down a little bit, use a sponge.

Concerning the shades, both look so beautiful on the cheeks. I especially love the colour “storm” because I love those warm shades on my skin tone, they give me a sunburnt look, which I love. “Dawn” looks so pretty and I imagine I would use it in the summer a lot. It actually looks very natural on the skin, it will not look like bright orange shade like in the swatches. Don’t worry.

Conclusion – glossier cloud paint review 9/10

To conclude, I am in love with these cream blushes. They are one of the best blushes I’ve ever used in my life. They blend beautifully and have the most gorgeous natural finish.
If you need to buy one thing from Glossier it would be these blushes cause they are seriously amazing!

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this review. If you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to subscribe to my mailing list.
