Product information

This product retails for 44$ and contains 1oz/30ml of product. Youth to The People describes it as “an ultra-enriched, flash-absorbing face oil packed with rare super berry antioxidants that leaves skin velvety soft, hydrated, and glowing.”

This serum is targeted for dryness, dullness, uneven texture and uneven skin tone. Moreover, it contains some strong antioxidants and radicals (Maqui, açaí and goji) to support collagen production and to fight signs of aging.

Other key ingredients include Prickly pear which “supports cell renewal while reducing redness and hyperpigmentation [and] hydrates.” And, sunflower/Jojoba Blend which are  “ultra-hydrating, nutrient-rich oil packed with antioxidants and fatty acids”.

Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Dicapryl Carbonate, Simmondsia Chineses (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Opuntia Tuna Extract(Prickly Pear), Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Extract (Acai), Lycium Barbarum (Goji) Extract, Aristotelia Chilensis (Maqui) Fruit Extract, And Moringa Oleifera Leaf Extract , Squalane Olive, Mixed Tocopherols (Vitamin E), Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Linum Usitatissimum (Flaxseed), Borago Officinalis (Borage), Rosa Canina (Rosehip) Fruit Oil*, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil*, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Seed Oil*, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil*, Natural Fragrance. *Certified Organic.

This product is of course clean at Sephora, vegan, cruelty-free and is available at Sephora and Youth To The People’s website.

Packaging 4.5/5

This product comes in a transparent matte glass bottle with a pipette and has all of the information written in black. I absolutely love the packaging of this product, it’s fairly simple yet it looks very nice and I love that you can see the light yellow colour of the serum through the glass bottle. The pipette makes the application way easier and I love the fact that the packaging is eco-friendly. On a related note, since the bottle is made out of glass, it is not travel-friendly so you’ll have to make sure you secure it well when traveling.

Formula 4/5

Concerning the formula of this oil, it’s not one of the best oils ever but it surely is my favourite. It absorbs really quickly into the skin and leaves an instant glow. On the long term, it does make my skin look healthier, brighter and more hydrated. It’s actually light enough to use in the morning but I like to use it at night only. I usually do not like to use oils but this one just works so well on my skin. Moreover, a little bit goes a long way with this oil which is cool because then it lasts longer. This product does claim to even out the skin tone but personally, I haven’t noticed any major difference and I’ve been using it for three months already,

On another note, it actually has a light scent so it’s not fragrance-free. However, it’s not bothering at all and I quite enjoy it.

Conclusion – superberry hydrate and glow oil review 8.5/10

To conclude, this oil performs really well. It’s not miraculous but I love how it makes my skin look and feel. I do recommend this product if you are looking for a simple oil that absorbs really quickly into the skin and that gives you a healthy glow. For the price, I don’t think it’s a must-have. But again, I really loved it and I definitely think I’ll repurchase it at some point.

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this review. If you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to subscribe to my mailing list.
