Product information

This moisturizer retails for 48$ and contains 2oz/60ml of product. Youth To The People describes it as  “a multifunction, lightweight face cream loaded with superfoods—kale, spinach, and green tea—and hyaluronic acid to moisturize skin”.

It is targeted for dryness, fine lines and wrinkles and loss of firmness and elasticity and is best for oily and combination skin. This moisturizer claims to be hydrating, refreshing, and claims to restore balance to your skin!

Water, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Lecithin, Glycerin, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Butylene Glycol, Brassica Oleracea (Kale) leaf Extract, Spinacia Oleracea (Spinach) leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Medicago Sativa (Alfalfa) Extract, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Natural Fragrance, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Pentylene Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Chlorophyll.

This product, like the brand, is cruelty-free and vegan and is available at Sephora or Youth To The People’s website.

Packaging 4/5

This moisturizer comes in the cutest transparent glass jar and has a white plastic cap. The packaging is fairly simple yet screams “Youth To The People” and I love it! It’s not a travel-friendly packaging but it is very practical. I also love the fact that it’s eco-friendly and that you can easily reuse the jar for something else. Personally, I am going to use it as a plant pot. I think it will look gorgeous in my bathroom!

You have to take in consideration that to apply the cream on your face, you’ll have to dip your finger in the jar which, for some people, may seem unsanitary. It personally does not bother me but I am just adding this information.

Formula 5/5

I absolutely love how this moisturizer perform. It is extremely lightweight yet it hydrates the skin really well and a little bit goes a long way. Moreover, it really absorbs quickly into the skin and keeps your skin moisturized for a long period of time. It also does a good job at removing dry patches and soothing the skin. I definitely feel that my skin is plumped and I am surprised that this moisturize performed well in the Canadian winter. This moisturizer is perfect for combination/oily skin that is also sensitive (like mine, basically). I do not think though that it will be enough for dry skin because as soon as my skin started to feel too dry because of my acne treatment, this cream was not enough to moisturize it. Either ways, it’s not targeted at this skin type.

On another note, I know that this product contains fragrance but it is so light that is seems inexistent. The scent, like Youth To The People describes it, is very light and refreshing!

Conclusion – superfood air-whip moisture cream review 9/10

To conclude, I really love this moisturizer. It’s quite pricey but you do get a good amount of product and the formula is just too good. I think I’ll repurchase it at some point and I definitely recommend it for those of you who have a normal/oily/combination skin and who also have a pretty sensitive skin! On top of that, Youth To The People is a very ethical brand that I definitely want to be supporting and that I encourage you to support as well!

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this review. If you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to subscribe to my mailing list.

It sounds great and the ingredients are very good! It might not be the best for me since my skin is pretty dry at the moment, especially in winter! thanks for sharing 😊

yes, it wouldn’t moisturize your skin deeply, it’s more appropriate for combination skin! Thanks for passing by xx

I got a small travel sized jar off of Amazon to try it out and loved it! I have combination oily skin and it was so lightweight I couldve put a small amount or a thick layer over my face and it wouldn’t feel clogging at all and leave my skin hydrated and angel soft by the morning. My only problem with it is the price point. I can’t justify spending almost $50 on 2 oz of product no matter how good it feels. Do you know of any cheaper alternative that feels similar in consistency and texture?

Tried this product in a sample size off of Amazon, it was perfect, the only problem was the price. I cant justify spending almost $50 on 2 oz of product. Any cheaper alternatives that are similar in texture?

Yes i totally understand you!!! i am actually looking for an alternative, i haven’t found one yet. I am currently trying the First Aid Beauty coconut water cream, it’s great but not as good as the Youth To the People one which feels more hydrating and moisturizing. I’ll keep you posted if i find one!
