Hello my dear pumpkins! Today, I am sharing with you my superfood cleanser review. I actually purchased the travel-size version of this cleanser about three months ago and I absolutely loved it. It practically changed my skincare routine and I had to buy the bigger bottle. Plus, I am actually really happy to be supporting a sustainable brand who focuses on ethics and well-being of our planet.

Superfood Cleanser Review
Product Information
This product is “a daily green juice cleanse for your face with cold-pressed antioxidants to remove makeup and prevent build-up in pores, while keeping skin’s pH balanced”. It contains 237ml of product and retails for 36$.
It claims to thoroughly clean your skin while leaving it glowy and nourished. Moreover, it targets oiliness, fine lines and wrinkles, and dullness and uneven texture. The cleanser is vegan, cruelty-free, sulfate-free, alcohol-free and it comes in a recyclable packaging.
The key ingredients are: Kale, which is rich in skin-loving phytonutrients and vitamins C, E, and K to strengthen and leave skin glowing. Spinach which is a lightweight skin soother with cooling properties and rich with conditioning essential fatty acids. And finally, green tea which is an anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredient that keeps skin clear.
You can find the product at Sephora or Youth To The People’s official website.
Packaging 4/5
This cleanser comes in a glass jar with a regular cap as well as a pump. The packaging is very minimal, it’s a see-through glass bottle and has all the information written in black. It also comes in a recyclable box. I do love the packaging, the glass bottle makes it feel more luxurious, it makes me feel better about the environment and you know I love minimal packaging. On top of that, I love how you can easily change from a pump to a regular cap in case you need to travel or carry it around with you.
Nonetheless, this cleanser is such a hazard because the writtings keeps coming off when you actually hold it with wet hands. It’s very annoying especially that the letters get stuck to your fingers. Moreover, the pump actually broke, for some reason 😅. I guess you will not have this problem if you manage not to break the pump so just, take care 😜.
Formula 5/5
Unlike the packaging, the formula is beyond perfect. This cleanser manages to clean my skin in a very effective way but at the same time, keep it very moisturized. It actually has a gel-like consistency and lightly foams when it touches the water. It is extremely gentle yet it cleans the face thoroughly and does not feel drying whatsoever. Moreover, it’s fragrance-free and it’s not irritative. As a matter of fact, I used it when my skin was feeling extra dry and irritated, and I absolutely loved it. I am currently using it night and day, and it’s enough to clean my face very well. I do recommend double-cleansing at night especially when you have makeup on.
Conclusion – Superfood Cleanser Review 9/10
To conclude, despite its hectic packaging, this is probably the best cleanser I’ve ever used in my life. It leaves my skin looking so clean yet it does not feel drying at all. It’s just very gentle and effective. It does what it claims to do perfectly. This is the second bottle I use and you can be sure that I will purchase a third one as I feel like it’s totally worth the price.
That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this review. If you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to subscribe to my mailing list.
