This product is melt’s newest palette from the Amor Eterno collection and contains 10 shades inspired by la muerte. It retails for 58$ and contains 17g of product, each eyeshadow contains 0,63oz of product.

Sephora claims that “the Muerte palette is all you need for a memorable elegant eye—a divine assortment of rich wines, deep blues, and compelling greens that mix and match exquisitely. Vivid jewel tones and rich velvety hues inspired by the depths of the twinkling night sky.”

Going from left to right, the shades are: Angelito (metallic celestial blue), Lagrimas (matte sentimental mint), Duelo (matte powerful jungle green), Panteón (matte deep jet grey), Noche Eterna (matte potent midnight blue), Catrina (shimmer imperial blue), Velorio (matte voluptuous plum), Sangre (matte dark cherry), Corazón (matte sensual pomegranate) and finally, Calaca (metallic sugar-bone).

This product is cruelty-free and is available on melt’s website.

Packaging 5/5

This eyeshadow palette has probably the most beautiful packaging in the world. The outer packaging is light blue with the skull and flowers, designed in 3D hence it feels very nice to the touch. The inside of the packaging is light blue and black. Around the mirror, appears beautiful golden patterns with “Amor Eternal” written in the middle. Like all of Melt’s palette, the names of the shades are written below in gold, to match the beautiful golden ornament.

Like most palette, it has a magnetic opening and like I previously mentioned, it contains a mirror. I absolutely love the details in this packaging and I love how expensive it feels. You can definitely tell that a lot of thought went into the packaging, and it wasn’t made in any old how. Moreover, I love how the packaging portrays very well the theme behind the whole collection and how all the colors coordinate very well!

Formula 4.5/5

If you are familiar with Melt’s products, you know that they have top notch formulas and this palette is no difference. First of all, the matte shades are extremely pigmented and blend like a dream. Plus, they do not look patchy or uneven whatsoever. Second of all, the metallic shades perform wonderfully, they are very pigmented and blend beautifully. They are not intense metallic shades but the finish is still absolutely gorgeous. They actually work best when the brush is wet or with your fingers. To be honest, they not are the best metallic shades ever made because I am pretty sure I’ve used better ones. But, they are still pretty good.

On another note, the shade selection is absolutely the best. First of all, it goes with the wonderful packaging (which I am sure was designed after the shades were chosen). Second of all, they go so well together and inspire me so much to create a dozen wonderful looks. I swear, I’ve never felt more inspired by a palette than by this one.

Conclusion – Muerte palette review 9.5/10

To conclude, I 100% recommend this palette and I am over happy I actually got my hand on it. It’s the best investment I’ve ever made and it is truly worth the price. The formula is amazing and the packaging is beyond perfect! I can’t imagine the day I won’t be able to use it anymore or the day I’ll hit pan on one of the shades.

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this review. If you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to subscribe to my mailing list.

I absolutely love the colour palette of this palette (haha), it’s a colours theme that I often use for things ranging from home decor to powerpoint presentations hahaha I love the reds and green-ish blues! Since I use very few eye shadow, I wouldn’t use it that much but I love all the looks you created with it! 😄
