Hello my lovely pumpkins! Today, I am sharing with you my Gemini palette review. I’ve wanted this palette since forever and I tried to order it on my birthday but the site was down. A few weeks ago, I passed by Sephora and randomly spotted it on a shelf with other Melt products. I got so excited guys, you can’t even imagine so I just grabbed it without thinking and bought it!
Don’t forget to check out my previous post: Pixi By Petra skincare review and let’s get into it!
Gemini palette review
Product Information
The gemini palette contains 10 eyeshadows, each pan contains 2.07g of product and it retails for 58$.
Melt describes the shades as “soft warm neutrals to cool olive tones, to satisfy every attitude”. They add that this palette is very versatile, the olive tones and warm yellow shades match beautifully and to intensify the metallic shades, you need to wet the brush.
This product is of course cruelty-free and some of the shades [Luna, Gemini, Lorelei, Polkadot, Cupcake, Mochi, Fire OG, Goalz, and Leo] are vegan!
The palette is available on their official website and at Sephora!
Packaging 5/5
The packaging of this palette is absolutely stunning, from the details for the roses to the color coordination. Everything just reminds me of Fall and represents well the shade selection. The shades are actually separated by an intense black shade, which I think is very aesthetic. The palette also comes with a decent sized mirror and the palette inside is black like the outer packaging. All of the shades’ names are written under each shade which I really appreciate, it’s just easier to refer to a shade. On top of that, the palette has a magnetic opening like most eyeshadow palettes and it actually feels very luxurious to the touch [the roses do not have a different texture then the rest but the writings do].
Concerning the shade selection, all of them work so well together and you can create so many versatile looks with this palette. From something soft and simple to something intense and smokey. It contains all of the shades one would need: two transition shades, several dark shades [orange, brown and green], a black shade and two metallic shades. I think with this palette, you can easily create a full look.
Formula 4/5
The gemini palette contains one of the best matte formulas in the beauty market. They are honestly so buttery, soft and pigmented. They blend so effortlessly and are true to want they look like on the pan. I am more disappointed in the metallic shades as they are an agony to work with. Okay, I am over exaggerating by using the term “agony” but they are not pigmented at all even with a wet brush. I can easily look past this because there are only two metallic shades and they are still really pretty. I ended up using them with my fingers but you have to really dip in the eyeshadows.
On a separate note, I have not noticed anything abnormal with these shades; they all blend together beautifully, they are long-lasting and not patchy at all. They perform like a dream.

Conclusion – Gemini Palette Review 9/10
To conclude, I really recommend the Gemini palette if you are looking for a versatile fall palette. I absolutely love the shades, they are the kind of colors I reach out for everyday. Furthermore, the formula is great and the packaging is on point! It is a quite expensive palette so I’d definitely recommend you to think a lot about your purchase before spending any money. I personally think it was worth all of my money and do not regret buying it!
That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this review and if you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to follow my blog.
