6 tips to get glowing skin
Besides the amazing skincare routine you most probably currently have, here are the 6 tips to help you achieve a glowy looking skin. Tips that I personally tried and loved!
6 tip to get glowing skin
1. Exfoliate your skin
I have found that using an AHA toner have made my skin super smooth and glowy as it not only removes any dead skin which avoid your pores to clog but it also makes your pores look smoother. The Ordinary’s Glycolic Acid toner is one of the best chemical exfoliators in the market as it is for less than 10$ and does the job!
2. Drink lots of water and have a healthy diet!
This is pretty much self-explanatory and you’ve probably heard it a million times but drinking water and having a good diet is a golden tip as it does make a difference to your skin. There’s literally a reason why dermatologist tell you to stop eating chocolat and chips. Because it is clearly related to state of your skin. On top of that, drinking water makes your skin hydrated hence glowy. I know that a lot skincare specialist says that there’s no link between water and healthy skin but there’s like between not drinking water and dehydrated skin
3. Moisturize
Moisturizer is pretty much an obvious step but an essential one. In fact, moisturizing helps your skin look healthy and hydrated [duh!]. Usually, when your skin is dry, it looks dull and wrinkled. Whereas, when you moisturize it, it looks more glowy and tight. One of the most deemed moisturizer in the market is Drunk Elephant’s Polypeptide Moisturizer, one that I personally really love and recommend. Any moisturizer can work and you can choose any other one that is ideal for your skin type and that is much cheaper.
4. Vitamin C
Vitamin C is the most famous key ingredient to achieve a bright and glowy skin. It targets dark spots and hyper pigmentation and anyone can use it. It of course comes in diverse forms, ascorbic acid being the most natural yet unstable one. There are also stable types of Vitamin C which are actually derivatives of ascorbic acid.
I recommend the Drunk Elephant’s C-Firma Vitamin C Day serum as it is very efficient and contains the form of Vitamin C that your skin recognizes the most and hence, works the best.
The Ordinary offers an alternative serum that is also very efficient and does not cost a lot. However, even though it has done miracles to my skin, the consistency is a bit too oily for my liking.
5. Collagen
Using a product that boosts the production of collagen is key to achieve a glowy looking skin. As a matter of fact, collagen helps improve the skin’s youthful-looking elasticity. In other words, it helps your skin look tighter.
I highly recommend OleHenriksen’s Truth Serum which also contains a derivative of vitamin C. It not only, brightens your skin, but it also makes it look tighter and hydrated.
6. Sunscreen
I am sure you’ve heard most skincare youtubers and bloggers say how much it is important to wear sunscreen before you set foot outside. And, here’s why: UV rays cause early signs of aging and dark spots. Two things that go against having a glowy skin. Therefore, it is very important to include sunscreen to your basic skincare routine. Some sunscreen creams may clog your pores so you need to wisely choose your product before applying it, making it is non-comedogenic.

Thank you! Amazing post, loved reading it. I’m not really having problem with my skin but I hate when it suddenly breaks out more than usual so I’ve been really into skincare lately because of that.
