Hello everyone and happy Monday! Today, I am sharing with you my Demi matte & cream lip set review by Huda Beauty. I received this set at my birthday and I absolutely love it. This is my first time trying huda beauty lip products, I already own her Desert Dusk palette which I love.
Now if you want to know if I like the Demi matte & cream lip set by huda beauty, then keep on reading and don’t forget to check out my previous post: REVIEW // Hydro Grip Primer By Milk Makeup.
Demi Matte & Cream Lip Set Review
This set comes with a matte liquid lipstick, a lip pencil and a demi-matte liquid lipstick. It retails for 25$ but the sizes of the liquid lipstick are travel-size.
This lip set comes in 4 different colors, each of these set contains two different shades. I have the Vintage Rosy Blushes set, which contains Bombshell as a matte liquid lipstick and lip pencil and Mogul as the Demi-matte liquid lipstick.
According to Huda Beauty, this set makes it easier to master Huda’s signature contoured lip look. They mention also, that it is perfect as a gift!
The packaging of this lip set is a big hit for me.
The three lip products come in a beautiful pink plastic box that has the shape of lips. I am currently using this box as a jewelry tray since it looks gorgeous on my makeup vanity. But, this also makes as the perfect gift because of how pretty and unique the box is!
The packaging of the lip pencil is very standard: it is all black, bold writings in the center and the shade color on the bottom. Unlike the liquid lipstick, the lip pencil is full-size.
The matte liquid lipstick has a pretty matte transparent component with the logo of the brand written on it and the applicator is flat
The demi matte liquid lipstick’s packaging differs a little bit: it’s component is clear transparent with a little bit of ombré on the top. The applicator has a different shape than the matte liquid lipstick, it’s actually cut which takes the shape of the lips. I really love the details in the packaging of this liquid lipstick but both look so pretty in my opinion!
The formula of the matte liquid lipstick is one of my favorites. It applies so easily and evenly, it’s very liquidy yet very thin on the lips and it’s very pigmented. It’s very long-lasting [8 hours I would say] but it doesn’t feel drying at all.
The lip pencil is very buttery and pigmented, it applies so easily on the lips.
The formula of the demi matte liquid lipstick is very similar to the formula of the matte liquid lipstick except that it doesn’t dry fully matte and is not transfer-proof.
Concerning the shades, Bombshell is a gorgeous peachy nude whereas Mogul is a beautiful warm pink. Both shades look beautiful on my skin tone.
Conclusion – Demi Matte & cream lip set review 10/10
In conclusion, for 25$, I think this demi matte & cream lip set is totally worth it. The packaging is on point, the lip products are very nice as well but the fact that you get a beautiful box with them is totally worth it! On top of that, the formula is great!
