Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today, I am sharing with you an honest review on the rose powder blush by Milani Cosmetics. This blush is so iconic and I am sure you’ve seen it somewhere because it’s so famous. Hence, why I decided to purchase, I wanted to know if it’s worth the hype!
Anyways, if you’ve been hesitating about buying this blush then this post is for you. Don’t forget to check out my previous post: HOW TO // 5 steps to create a vision board.

Product Information – Rose Powder blush by Milani
This Rose Powder blush comes in 4 different shades, contains 17g/ 0.60oz of product and retails for 8.99$.
I have the shade “Romantic Rose” which is a soft dusty rose color.
Milani describes this blush as “The soft, natural-finish powder shapes, contours and highlights with flattering matte and shimmery shades made to complement every skin tone. This is one petal-perfect beauty that you’ll reach for again and again”
This blush is the most iconic blush I know. Its packaging is so unique and gorgeous. I mean the rose is not just imprinted on the blush, the blush is the rose and I love that, especially that it’s so affordable. Not only, do I love the rose as the blush, but I also love the golden details, the transparent top cover and the gold writings. I just think everything looks beautiful together and the packaging looks luxurious for only 8.99$.
The only reason I rate it a 4/5 is because the opening is so inconvenient. I messed up the blush with my nails because of it.
For 9$, the formula of this blush is great but it’s not Milani’s best product [hands down to their baked blush, these blushes are amazing]. It’s very soft, has a good amount of pigment, blends beautifully on the cheeks and is long lasting. It is not my most long lasting blush though.
The shade is also gorgeous and very flattering. It appears as beautiful on the cheeks as it does on the pan. The shade that I have has a matte finish but it doesn’t look flat or drying. In the contrary, the finish is beautiful.
I do wish they would come up with more shades. The shade that I have looks very light but it works amazing on me. I will try it out when I am super-tanned [like 4 shades darker than my natural skin tone] and let you know my thoughts.
Conclusion – Rose Powder blush by Milani 8.5/10
To conclude, I definitely recommend this blush, the formula is great and the packaging is beautiful. I think it’s worth the hype, especially for the packaging and how photogenic it is.
That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this review and if you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to follow my blog.
