Hello my pumpkins, welcome back to my blog and welcome if you are new!
Today, I am reviewing, for the second time on my blog, a fenty beauty product and that is the Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in “Ridiiic”. The first product I’ve ever reviewed by fenty beauty is the fly liner and you can read my review here. I really want to start purchasing more products by Fenty Beauty because especially their highlighters cause they are very tempting but I never know what to get exactly. Let me know down in the comment section below, what I should get from the brand!
Anyways, let’s get into this review
Product information
Shimmer Skinsticks come in 10 differents shades for all skin tones, each retail for 25$ and you get 7.10g of product, which I think is a lot for a blush.
Fenty Beauty describes this product as a “A magnetized makeup stick in a long-wear, light-as-air shimmer formula to highlight, blush, enhance, and bronze in 10 colorful shades that let you play.”
For those of you interested, the brand is cruelty-free and the product is formulated without parabens, Sulfates and Phthalates.
In this review, I am going to focus on the shade “Ridiiic” which is a “golden papaya”
You can get yours from Sephora or Fenty Beauty’s website.
Packaging
The packaging of this match stix is very unique: I love the pink/beige packaging, the fact that it’s magnetic, the geometric shape of the packaging and the feeling when I touch it. This is definitely a product I am proud of showing off. I actually threw the box it came in but I really loved it, it was a really pretty box, the designs on it were very sleek and edgy!
To have the product come out, you need to roll the stick by the way.
Formula
This is currently my go-to blush, I love the shade, it’s totally up my alley and gives me this gorgeous sun-kissed look but it’s not too shimmery, it’s more like a subtle sheen. The pigmentation is perfect but you can go overboard with it so just take care. I love the fact that it’s a stick blush not powder because it doesn’t enhance my pores, doesn’t stick to my dry patches and it is more long-lasting. I personally apply it with a dense brush. Sadly, this is not the creamiest blush I’ve ever used but I still apply my blush with ease.
I also love how versatile it is, I mean you can easily use this shimmery stick as a highlighter [depending on your skin tone of course, this one looks more like a shimmery blush on me], a lipstick [yes, I saw Rihanna doing it and I did it, it looked pretty but I would never do it again, I don’t really like metallic lipsticks] and eyeshadow [but since it’s not creamy, it doesn’t apply smoothly on the eyes].
Swatch
Conclusion
For 26$, I think you get a lot of product, the packaging is gorgeous, the shades are unique and the product is versatile, so I definitely would recommend it but I am a bit disappointed in the formula since it’s not that creamy. I do think I’ll buy another shade [I am eyeing “Chili Mango” such a nice shade] but I think this blush will last me a long time so I won’t need to buy another one.
Dupes
It was so hard for me to find affordable dupes for these shimmer skinsticks, they are truly unique [shades!!!!] but here are some blushes that might interest you as well.
Super shock Blush by Colourpop: Amazing cream to powder blush is definitely Colourpop’s blushes however they only have matte blushes I think. But do check out what they have. They have some really nice shades.
Blush by Morphe: Not a creamy formula but they have a lot of interesting shimmery/matte shades so I think you could find a nice blush with a unique color
Milani Baked Blush: I discovered that Milani has some pretty shimmery blushes and I know that Milani is known for their blushes.
NYX High Definition blush: Nyx has some really pretty shimmery blushes with really unique colors so I definitely advice you to check them out!
If you have any dupes to propose, feel free to leave a comment on the section below!
That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this post and if you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to follow my blog [you can do that by email].

It’s good that you get a lot of product with the shimmer skin stick. I agree with you, I would prefer a more creamier formula. Chili mango sounds very interesting! I’d like to see how that shade looks.
