Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner by Fenty Beauty – Review, Swatches & Dupes

Hello my pumpkins and welcome back to my blog!!

In today’s post, I am going to review Fenty Beauty’s newest liquid eyeliner. I was really tempted to try this eyeliner out just because I never reviewed any product by Fenty Beauty on this blog and I really wanted to buy a new eyeliner. If you want to know my honest opinion on this flyliner then keep on reading!

On a side note, I am sorry if I am not posting 3 times per week but I am so overwhelmed with all of the apartment things I have to deal with and with my Canadian family who wants to see me but I can tell you that everything is going very smoothly and I am glad I decided to fly to Canada a month before university starts.

Product Information

This liquid eyeliner is supposed to be “a hyper-saturated, water-resistant, liquid eyeliner with an innovative flex tip and easy-grip triangle shape for effortless, no-limit lining that lasts.” It retails for 20$, contains 0.55ml of product and has a satin finish.

This product, like the brand, is cruelty-free and is available in one shade only, which is black.

You can purchase this product from Sephora and  Fenty Beauty

Packaging

This liner comes in a rose gold packaging and has a triangle shape which is supposed to make the application easier but I don’t think it does anything honestly. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, it looks very luxurious, I excepted it to be heavy but it actually feels very lightweight, that doesn’t bother me but I did want it to feel heavy. Concerning the wand, it is very pointy and thin which makes the application easy and precise. The fly liner comes in a pretty box black and pink box which, I think, is the same for all of Fenty Beauty.

Formula

I am very satisfied with the formula; it’s extremely black and pigmented, it’s very easy to apply and create a sharp wing line. It is very long-lasting, the color does not dry and breaks after several hours, thank god. It still looks nice and black after a 7 hours. It’s still very easy to remove with a makeup remover, you don’t have to spend hours removing it but it is water-proof.

Even though this eyeliner performs really well, the formula is not mind blowing and I don’t necessarily recommend it [because of the price]

Dupes

The dupes for this product are the “Fierce Felt Liner” by Sleek Makeup and “Epic Ink Liner” by NYX Cosmetics. Both perform the same way and has the same finish as the Flyliner by Fenty Beauty. I actually never tried the one by Sleek Makeup but the Instagram account “dupe boss” mentioned that it was a dupe and I generally trust their opinion.

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed this post and if you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to follow my blog [you can do that by email].

xx

Hmm I’ve been considering trying this liner since I usually purchase liners in this price range. I have yet to try that NYX one because it isn’t easily accessible where I live!

Still didn’t try anything from Fenty beauty, but Fenty has been so popular since it launched so I’ll have to try at least something. xx

Great info. Liquid eyeliners scare me. Thank you for sharing your opinion.

I tried it multiple times in the store but it bleeded terribly on my hand so that kind of made me step back but that packaging is so stunning I kind of want it ahahah, I much prefer highend liners because they last longer, I mean I had the KVD one for over a year before I had to replace it, that totally pays it back in my opinion xx
