Hello my pumpkins!!
So this post is very random and unplanned. I was supposed to publish my review on the BH Cosmetics’ Weekend Festival palette but I realized, last night, that it was discontinued so I did not want to post this review if you guys couldn’t get this palette. I still plan on publishing something related to that palette cause it’s honestly stunning. Anywho, yesterday I saw Mimi doing this TAG and I was tempted to do it as well, she did not tag me but I still thought it would be fun. This TAG consists of choosing, out of all the products from your makeup collection, one product from each category.
Hence, keep on reading if you want to know what are the make up products I cannot live without!
Primer: Master Primer, pore minimizing primer by Maybelline [not cruelty-free]
This primer is amazing and I choose it over all of my primers because 1. it’s cheap 2. gives me a flawless base 3. works with all my foundations
Foundation: 123 Perfect CC Cream by Bourjois [not cruelty-free]
This is my favorite foundation but sadly, it was discontinued. I love it because 1. has colour correcting properties and is medium coverage 2. super hydrating and gives a healthy-looking finish 3. looks flawless even after 8 hours
Concealer: Skin Concealer by Kylie Cosmetics
I finally found the perfect way this concealer works on me and I love it, 1. the finish looks amazing 2. great coverage and lasting power 3. doesn’t end up looking cakey or creasy at the end of the day.
Setting Powder: Master Fix setting powder by Maybelline [not cruelty-free]
I received this as a gift from MyKady.com [use my code MyJoy to get 10% off on any products] and I never would have excepted it to be that good. 1. no flashbacks whatsoever 2. setting powders can break or make your makeup look, well this one makes my under eyes flawless and blurs all of my imperfections 3. not drying at all
Contour/bronzer: Shade & Light palette by Kat Von D [powders]
I love this palette a lot because 1. it has all of the shades I need, to contour, to bronze, when I am tanned, when I am pale 2. it is so pigmented and long-lasting 3. doesn’t look patchy or muddy
Highlighter: Super Shock Highlighter by Colourpop, any shade really.
This one was the hardest to choose honestly, I have so many amazing highlighters but I decided to choose Colourpop’s highlighters because 1. it is creamy and not powdery hence it gives this wet-looking glow and doesn’t enhance the texture on my face 2. it is super cheap and available in so many shades 3. it is very blinding and very long-lasting
Blush: High Definition blush by NYX Cosmetics, shade “Amber”
This blush, in this shade, is my everything. I wear it all the time because 1. gives me this gorgeous natural sun-kissed look 2. pigmented and long-lasting 3. cheap!!
Brows: Precision Brow Pencil by NYX Cosmetics, shade “Espresso”
Forget about Benefit and Anastasia Beverlyhills because this brow pencil is the shit. 1. it is so pigmented and creamy 2. the shape of the pencil makes it easier to fill your eyebrows.
Eyeshadow: Naked Heat palette by Urban Decay
Another hard one to choose, I did post my Top 5 Eyeshadow Palettes and it still really was hard to choose one only but I finally went with my Naked Heat palette by Urban Decay because I think, it’s the one palette I can use on a daily basis, it has all of the “neutral” shades I love, shades I can wear in summer and winter. Plus, the formula of the eyeshadows is on point.
Eyeliner: Epic Ink Liner by NYX Cosmetics, shade “black”
I absolutely love this eyeliner because 1. it is so easy to use and create the wing line with 2. very pigmented, very black 3. very long-lasting, it doesn’t break even after a few hours.
Eye Pencil Liner: Long Lasting eye pencil liner by Essence, shade “Black”
This black eye pencil is so pigmented and creamy, it shocks me that it’s so affordable. Moreover, since it’s very thin, it makes it easier for me to apply the pencil in my waterline and upper waterline.
Mascara: Total Temptation Mascara by Maybelline [not cruelty-free]
I live for this mascara, it took the place of my Marc Jacobs mascara because 1. it is cheap 2. gives volume, length to my lashes and elongates my eyes 3. doesn’t make my lashes clumpy, the formula is neither too dry nor too wet and I love that.
Lips: Velvet Liquid Lipstick by Kylie Cosmetics
I love the formula of these liquid lipsticks and the shade selection is amazing. MY favorite shade would be “Vibe” cause it perfect for fall but I also love the nudes the brand offers in that formula.
Setting spray: Mario Badescu Rose water facial spray
I recently wrote a review on this spray so go check it out here
