The Weather Collection Highlighter Palette by Kylie Cosmetics: Review & Swatches

Hello my pumpkins and happy Monday!

No movie review for today cause honestly, I did not have the time  to go out and watch a movie, I hope I will this week [I think Deadpool 2 is coming out this week and I will not miss it for the world].

ANYWAYS, in today’s article, I am reviewing the gorgeous highlighting palette by Kylie Cosmetics from her Weather Collection. While all the brands were coming out with Unicorn, mermaid and rainbow collections, Kylie decided to release the striking Weather Collection, a collection that has bold and crazy colors, a collection dedicated to her lovely daughter, Stormi [yes Kylie has a daughter, have you been living under a rock?]

I am happy I was able to pick out the one item I wanted so much and that is that highlighting palette, the packaging really spoke to me, it’s gorgeous and I really wanted to have it in my makeup collection [now I really want all of products from the Kris Jenner collection]

Ok this intro is getting too long like this title so let’s just go ahead and get started!

Product Information

This highlighting palette retails for 44$, you get 4 shades for different skin tones and each contains 3.1g of product which I think is enough for a palette.

The 4 shades are:

Cloud 9, a shimmering gold.

Stratus, a shimmering silver champagne.

Daydream, a shimmering bronze with silver glitter.

Golden hour, a pale gold.

In this palette you also get a medium sized mirror.

These highlighters are supposed to be “a silky-smooth, pigment packed with one stroke intensity” and you can purchase it from here

Packaging

Like I said it in the intro, I fell in love with the packaging, it’s very playful yet looks very high-end. I love that the top cover has different textures; one cloud is holographic, the other is soft like a cushion and the other one is normal. I also love the details; the small thunder storms all over the palette and the holographic frames around the highlighters.

The palette comes in a gray box with thunder storms drawn on it in different colors. It also has a bit of holographic which reminds me of the lightning of a thunder. Everything goes really well with the theme and for me, the packaging is a 5/5, I love it!

Formula

The formula is honestly as amazing as the packaging, the highlighters feel so soft and creamy, they are blinding  and you don’t need to even build them up, the sheen is gorgeous, it’s more wet-looking than shimmery. Moreover, they don’t emphasize the texture on your face and they blend beautifully with the rest of your makeup.

I am absolutely obsessed with the shade “Cloud 9”, the shade looks gorgeous on my complexion and it is VERY blinding. It definitely overthrew  my “amrezy X ABH” highlighter.

In conclusion, I definitely recommend this palette if you intend to make an order from Kylie Cosmetics, the formula is insanely good and the packaging is on point. I also don’t think it’s too expensive for a palette, I definitely think it’s worth the 44$.

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading and if you did, don’t forget to give this post a ‘like’ and to follow my blog [you can do that by email].

xx
