Hello my pumpkins!
I am back with another review and in today’s article I’ll be reviewing some of the products from the JLO x Inglot collection. I was able to get my hands on these babies when I was attending Jamaloukicon and when I swatched the products at the store I was mind blown. I was never really drawn to Inglot but this collection is the shit!
If you want to know my opinion on these products then keep on reading and don’t forget to check out my Top 5 Eyeshadow Palettes
So I am gonna go product by product starting with the blush
Freedom System Blush in “Charmed” [you have to buy the palette or else you get it as a single without a package, which kind of sucks] it contains 6g of products and retails for 13$. It has special ingredients like Vitamin E, Sponge Gourd Oil and Treated pigments. – Purchase here
Purchase the palette here
Pure Pigment Eyeshadow in “Cosmic Glow”, this product retails for 25$, it a loose colored powder and it has 2g of product. This product also has sponge gourd oil. – Purchase here
Eyeliner Gel in “Midnight”, this eyeliner retails for 20$ and contains 5.5g of product. This product contains film former and treated pigments. – Purchase here
Lipstick in “Dolce”, this lipstick retails for 19$ and has 4.5g of product. It has special ingredients such as Vitamin E, Apricot Kernel Oil and Rich Emollients – Purchase here
I absolutely love the packaging of this collection, it’s just so elegant and sleek. I love the details on the blush container and this mix of black and gold. The brand is not a drugstore brand so I would except the packaging to be very luxurious and fancy.
The palette [of the blush] has a magnetic opening and opens separately of the container [they are not attached]. I don’t know if this way is ideal as I am scared I would lose the top cover :P. Concerning the gel liner and loose eyeshadow, they both come in a transparent plastic jar which I like cause first, you can easily see the product and second, it’s travel friendly, you are sure the products won’t break in your makeup bag.
The blush has an amazing pigmentation and the shade is to die for. It does make my skin look flawless and healthy looking. I love it and I think it is perfect for summer.
The eyeshadow has also a great shimmery finish that I love. I totally imagine wearing this eyeshadow to a disco party. It can be very subtle but it can also be supper blinding. I can imagine using it as a highlighter as I love shimmery highlighters, they’re perfect for parties but if you don’t like shimmery highlighter then stick to using it as an eyeshadow.
The Gel eyeliner is also a major hit, it comes out very liquidy but it dries matte after a few minutes, it has a great consistency and is very black. It does help achieve a precise and thin cat eye.
Another major hit, the formula of this lipstick is insanely good, it is VERY creamy, very pigmented, not too saturated, exactly how I like it. This lipstick will be perfect for the summer hot days, it is super hydrating and feels very comfortable. Plus, the shade is gorgeous, it applies evenly and doesn’t look streaky.
In conclusion, I think this JLO collection is a major hit and I definitely recommend these products, they are totally worth the price. However, if you don’t feel like paying that much of money, here are some dupes for you
The High Definition blush by NYX in shade “Deep Plum” could be a great dupe for this JLO blush, you can check other shades too but the formula is really similar. Plus, it’s only 7$ and it comes with a pan so definitely worth it! – check out here
L’Oreal has some amazing lipsticks with a very similar formula as this Inglot lipstick but cheaper. It’s the color riche lipcolour luxurious lipsticks. – check out here
That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading and if you did, don’t forget to give this post a ‘like’ and to follow my blog [you can do that by email].
