Hello my pumpkins!
Today, I am doing my first anti-haul, basically, I am going to share with you all of the makeup products I won’t be buying and why. I’ve seen this kind of post going around a lot so I thought I would give it a try.
Don’t forget to check out my previous post and let’s get into this anti-haul!
Too Faced Life’s a Festival Collection
I’ve been over the unicorn collection for a while and now Too Faced decides to release this collection? honey, no. This collection looks horrible honestly, I hate the packaging, it is way too childish and the products themselves don’t look appealing, like the color selection in the eyeshadow palette is horrible [to me].
Natasha Denona Tropic Eyeshadow palette
This palette is gorgeous, I love the color selection and I know for sure that the formula will be amazing. The only reason I won’t be buying it is because it’s TOO expensive, it’s way out of my reach so I am sure I will not purchase it. Sad but true.
If I end up buying it for whatever reason, I’ll definitely do a review but I don’t think I will. IT IS SO PRETTY THOUGH I CAN’T!!
Naked Petite Heat by Urban Decay
I already own the Naked Heat palette so I don’t think I need to buy myself this palette here.
Wet N Wild Goth-O-Graphic collection
This pretty much claims to go against the mermaid/unicorn/rainbow collection but I am sorry this is pretty much what it is: the colors, the holographic, everything except the skull reminds me of a mermaid/ unicorn collection. Moreover, mermaid or not, I am not tempted to buy any these products, I am just so over this holographic trend and I am not drawn to the products. Plus, I don’t like the packaging, it is too childish and it reminds of me when I was in my emo phase :p
Shameless Youthful-look foundation by Marc Jacobs
This foundation has an amazing shade range but sadly the formula is not that amazing: I’ve seen/read so many reviews and most of them did not like this foundation so I think I’ll pass.
Calm Before The storm & Eye Of The Storm Eyeshadow Palette by Kylie Cosmetics
I really appreciate the fact that Kylie came out with a collection that is different from what I have seen and it is different that the Unicorn/Mermaid collection, in fact, I did purchase the highlighting palette from that collection but the Kyshadows are a big no. I really don’t like the color selection, I feel like they don’t go with each other and I don’t think they are must-have shades.
By the way, if you like these products or already purchased them, that’s amazing. This is my personal opinion, it shouldn’t affect your opinion/decision. It also doesn’t mean I hate the brands, I honestly love all of these brands, it’s just those few items that I don’t like.
That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading and if you did, don’t forget to give this post a ‘like’ and to follow my blog [you can do that by email].

Ooh that blue in that Tropic palette is incredible! Shame about the price though. I agree about the holographic ranges, it’s so over done now! Great post sweet ❤️

Girl YES. The holographic trend has been worn painfully thin by this point, I’m over it xx
I love love that palette!

Which one? 😛
Natasha Denona Tropic Eyeshadow palette looks amazing!

Yes it does!!!
I just posted an anti-haul and have a bunch of these products on my list as well! Great minds think alike.
I didn’t include the Natasha Denona Tropic palette or the Wet n Wild collection but I’m not interested in those either! Didn’t even know about those two Kylie palettes but I tend to just ignore everything that is released by a Kardashian…

Hahahah i do like what Kylie releases, i think her makeup brand is awesome! Hahha and that’s awesome! Thanks a lot for reading ☺️💕
That’s fair, she does seem to come out with some pretty good stuff I think!

hahah yes!
Agree. On. Everything. I’m so sick of unicorn/rainbows/mermaid too. It looks like kids make up but way more expensive XD I loved the Genius Gel by Marc Jacobs and I thought this new one could be similar since they are discontinuing that, sadly as far as I’ve heard it’s not even a close dupe. Might pick a sample to test it but to be honest, I’m not drawn to it!

Yess, if you get to try it, let me know your thoughts!! Thanks for reading babe xx
I’m with you on all of these! I wish Natasha Denona wasn’t so expensive because that palette is stunning!
Author
Yess it’s a shame!! Thanks for reading xx
Holographic ranges are definitely going out of fashion now so I agree that maybe brands should be looking to bring out other ranges instead. The tropic palette is so pretty, shame about the price of it 😭 xx
Author
Yes exactly!! Thanks for reading
It’s okay 😘 xx
The Natasha Denona Tropic Eyeshadow palette is just eye candy. It’s so expensive and no one will ever use up such large pans of blue or green eye shadows!

I would honestly but yes for the price, i agree. Eyeshadow palettes are my weakness so i really can’t resist this one 😛 thanks for reading dear ❤️
I want to like the Unicorn collection so badly, but like you…there’s just something cringey about it. I feel like these collections are so pricy for what?? For us to take a flat lay and never wear those colors ever??
I’m all for bright and colourful makeup but bold colours just look tacky ! xxx
