Too Faced’s Peach Perfect Setting Powder: Hit or Miss?

Hello my pumpkins and welcome back!

Loose powders have become an important step in anyone’s makeup routine because it helps make your skin look flawless, it makes sure your make-up doesn’t move around and makes it last longer.

Today, I am reviewing the Peach Perfect setting Powder by Too Faced. This came out with the whole cream&peach collection, a collection that I love because the products look so pretty and smell amazing. This product was recommended by Casey Holmes, she often uses this powder in her videos, that’s one of the reasons I decided to purchase it and I don’t regret it at all!

Don’t forget to read my previous post and let’s get into this review!

Product Information

This loose powder is a translucent setting powder with a peach undertone, it contains 35g of product, it is mattifying and is infused with peach and sweet fig cream. It “works to visibly brighten skin while creating a silky-smooth, matte finish that lasts up to 14 hours.”.

Of course, Too faced is vegan and cruelty-free!

“Peach Perfect” retails for 32$ and is available at Sephora.

Packaging

The packaging is the prettiest thing I’ve seen, it looks and feels very luxurious and it is travel-friendly because it’s made out of plastic not glass and the loose powder is quite secure; as you can see in the last photo, there’s a lid that you flip up and that closes on the opening to keep the powder from flying everywhere.

I love the details in the packaging, I like how the opening [where there’s the holes] is in a peach shape, and I love the colors of the container’s lid: gold and ombré peachy pink, so cute and luxurious.

I also love the name of that loose powder it is so cute; “Peach Perfect”. Too faced never fails to find creative names to their products.

My thoughts

I am so happy I spent those 32$ because not only the packaging is gorgeous but also the formula is on point, it does what it claims to do: it really keeps my skin so smooth, so matte for a long time [not sure about 14 hours, I never keep my makeup that long] and it has no flash-backs. I also love the fact that it has a peach undertone because it does brighten my under-eyes but don’t worry, the powder is still translucent, it does not change the color of your foundation or concealer.

I wouldn’t recommend it if you have a dry skin because it clings on dry patches and make your whole makeup look patchy and ugly. This loose powder is PERFECT for oily or combination skin.

I usually always need to re-touch my face throughout the day to remove excess oil on my t-zones but this powder does an amazing job at keeping my  face oil-free. God bless Too Faced. I definitely think this product is a hit and is worth those 32$. Moreover, it smells amazing!!!!

By the way, keep in mind that I use a rather dewy foundation/satin finish foundation and not a matte foundation so I don’t know how this powder will look applied on a matte base.

Let me know if you’ve tried this powder and if you liked it!

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading and if you did, don’t forget to give this post a ‘like’ and to follow my blog [you can do that by email].

xx

Does this have an illumination to it? Not sparkly just glowy?

No, it just brightens a bit but nothing major!!

I would literally buy this just for the packaging, it’s so sweet! I’ve often wondered about the colouring in this as it looks so peachy but it’s interesting to see that it doesn’t disrupt the shade of you foundation. Must be amazing walking round with the smell of it all day x

I still don’t own loose powders but would really like to. It’s unfortunate that this one is mostly for oily and combination skin since I have a few dry spots this wouldn’t work for me. It looks so good though!!

sometimes, I have dry spots too, so what I do is that I usually prime my face with an oil and instead of baking with this powder, I use a little bit of it [with a brush] just to mattify and set my face [mainly my t-zones]. This method seems to be working well on my skin when I have dry spots because of my acne treatment.

That makes sense. I’ll keep that in mind.
