Today I am sharing with you my top 5 favorite matte liquid lipsticks focusing on the formula not on the shades so basically in this post, I’ll be stating what are my 5 favorites brands that sell matte liquid lipsticks.

Matte liquid lipsticks have started to be very famous ever since Kylie released her line of liquid lipsticks. Since then, so many brands have come out with their own matte liquid lipsticks or have upgraded their formulas. Not all of them have been very successful at creating the perfect matte liquid lipstick but here 5 of my favorites!

#5 Vivid Matte Liquid Lipstick by Maybelline

I don’t use this liquid lipstick anymore but I cannot deny that the formula is AMAZING, I love the consistency of this liquid lipstick, it is so creamy, pigmented and feels comfortable to wear. The only drawback is that it’s not that long-lasting or transfer-proof!

#4 Soft Matte Lip Cream by NYX

This one here is pretty famous in the beauty community and I understand why, the formula is just on point. It’s very moussy and is super comfortable to wear, it doesn’t dry out after a few hours and it is long-lasting and transfer-proof. Plus, I love the color selection. However, it is not so pigmented, you do have to apply several times to achieve the perfect coat and so that color look even and saturated.

#3 Ultra Matte Lip by Colourpop

This liquid lipstick is the perfect dupe for Kylie’s liquid lipsticks but cheaper, that’s why I decided to mention this one and not Kylie’s. This liquid lipstick costs 6$ and it is amazing!!!!! It’s super long-lasting, super pigmented and transfer-proof. It’s not the most comfortable liquid lipstick to wear but honestly, if you apply a tone of lip balm before, you’re good!

#2 Matte Velvetine by Lime Crime

I recently wrote a review on this liquid lipstick and I love it. It’s VERY pigmented, VERY creamy [so it’s super easy to apply], VERY long-lasting and VERY trans-proof. On top of that, it is SUPER light-weight even though it dries out completely to a matte finish.

#1 Velour Liquid Lipstick

This is my ultimate favorite matte liquid lipstick, I love the formula, it’s very similar to the Velvetine by Lime Crime expect that this one is less transfer-proof. But the reason why I love it better is because it’s cheaper [by 2$] and you get more product.
