Make Up Swap With Mimi – Simple Rosy Makeup Look

Hello my pumpkins and Happy Monday!

Today’s post is a bit special, it’s a collaboration with the beautiful Blushy Darling. You guys know about our giveaway, well around the same time, Mimi sent me from Italy 5 of her favorite beauty products and I did the same for her. With the products she got me, I created a simple rose-y makeup look and with the products I got her she created a gorgeous oriental makeup look!

In this post, I will also write a mini review on each of the products she got me.

You can check the products Mimi used for this look here

1- First product she got me is the Soft Mousse Eyeshadow by Wycon Cosmetics, N. 11

I applied a bit of this eyeshadow all over my lid then I added another coat but in the center of my lid. I really love this product, however if you apply to much of it, it dries then breaks super easily. I personally don’t like cream eyeshadows, so I don’t think I’ll ever purchase this product but I am happy I got to try it. Plus, the shade is gorgeous.

On a side note, I used the shades ‘Big Spoon’ and ‘T-Cup’ from the ‘All I See Is Magic’ palette by Colourpop + ‘Treat Yourself’ from the same palette in my inner corners.

2- Second product she got me is the Long-lasting eye pencil by Essence, in shade ‘Black Fever’

I know that essence is a very cheap brand so I was so shocked when I tried this eye pencil, it is so rich in pigment, so creamy and long-lasting. Moreover, it’s so easy to smudge however it does lose it’s blackness once you smudge it so keep that in mind.

By the way, Mimi also got me the same eye pencil in the shade ‘I Have A Green’

3- Third product I got from Mimi is the Volume Stylist Lash Extension Mascara by Essence

I really like this product, I think it really gives amazing volume to my eyelashes however I don’t think I’ll ever use it again because it dries out SO QUICKLY! Plus, I really love my Marc Jacobs mascara.

4- Fourth product I got from Mimi is the Casey Holmes X Smashbox Spotlight palette, in shade Pearl

Guys omg, I cannot believe Mimi got me this palette and I can’t believe she actually remembered  I wanted it. This palettes offers 2 blinding highlighters and 1 more subtle [which is actually my favorite]. The more subtle one is very glittery and that is why I LOVE it, I don’t own a similar shade.

5- Fifth product I got from Mimi is the Matte lipstick by Essence, N. 3

I was so scared the color would look very pink and too saturated but it’s not!!! It’s so subtle and unsaturated yet it’s very pigmented and creamy and I love the matte finish, it’s very comfortable. For the price [I don’t know how much it is, but I am guessing it’s affordable] the formula is on point!!!!

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading and if you did, don’t forget to give this post a ‘like’ and to follow my blog.

xx
