Hello my pumpkins and welcome back!
Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year, I literally love everything related to this amazing holiday: the Starbucks drinks, the presents, the decorations, the food, spending time with my family and of course, the movies.
Today I am sharing with you my top favorite movies that I watch every Christmas!!
Don’t forget to check my previous post, which is a festive makeup look!
#1 The Polar Express
“A young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express. During his adventure he learns about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas.” IMDB
I really love this Christmas film starring Tom Hanks. From the story to the visuals, this movie is a fun ride and a must-see!
#2 The Nightmare Before Christmas
“Jack Skellington, king of Halloween Town, discovers Christmas Town, but his attempts to bring Christmas to his home cause confusion.” IMDB
I know some people would argue that this is a halloween film but I personally consider it as a halloween and Christmas films! One of the best Tim Burton film, this movie is fun and creepy.
#3 How The Grinch Stole Christmas
“On the outskirts of Whoville, there lives a green, revenge-seeking Grinch who plans on ruining the Christmas holiday for all of the citizens of the town.” IMDB
This is a classic Christmas film starring the amazing Jim Carrey and the cute Taylor Momsen. I love it, it is super entertaining and teaches you a lot about the true spirit of Christmas!
#4 Home Alone
“An eight-year-old troublemaker must protect his house from a pair of burglars when he is accidentally left home alone by his family during Christmas vacation.” IMDB
Come on, this Christmas film is a must-watch, it is so funny and literally keeps you at the edge of your seat [because you start worrying for the kid]. I love this film but I still don’t understand how the mother could have forgotten about her son, honestly! :p
#5 A Christmas Carol
“An animated retelling of Charles Dickens’ classic novel about a Victorian-era miser taken on a journey of self-redemption, courtesy of several mysterious Christmas apparitions.” IMDB
Another amazing Christmas film starring Jim Carrey. The story is already very moving and inspiring, hence watching it as a movie is even more awesome!
#6 The Santa Clause
“When a man inadvertantly kills Santa on Christmas Eve, he finds himself magically recruited to take his place.” IMDB
Another classic movie that you must watch on Christmas, it is fun, entertaining and brings back a lot of childhood memories [for me at least]
#7 Love Actually
“Follows the lives of eight very different couples in dealing with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London, England.” IMDB
If you are looking for a nice rom-com to watch on Christmas, this one is for you! It has an amazing cast, is super funny and very emotional.
#8 Olaf’s Frozen Adventure
“When the kingdom of Arendelle empties out for the holiday season, Anna and Elsa realize that they have no family traditions of their own. So Olaf sets out on a merry mission to bring home the very best traditions and save Christmas.”
This one is new and short but is perfect for the holidays! It is funny and contains beautiful songs. Plus, Olaf is adorable!
