My Drugstore Essentials

Hello my pumpkins and welcome back!

So today I am going to share with you my 6 drugstore essentials, 6 products that I cannot live without [and why] and that you can easily find at your local drugstore.

Don’t forget to check my previous post for updates about my life and to know what’s my Sephora wish list. I also asked you guys what you want to see next on my blog [Post is here]

123 Perfect CC Cream by Bourjois

So on top of my list is this CC cream by Bourjois. I’ve been using this CC cream as my daily foundation for a year already and I haven’t found anything better than this. I absolutely love it, it covers perfectly well my redness and acne and it makes my skin look so fresh, radiant and healthy. This product is not cruelty-free and I wish I could find a cruelty-free dupe for this!

The Colossal Big Shot Mascara by Maybelline

The second item on my list is this mascara by Maybelline [The colossal big shot volum’express mascara]. It’s honestly the only mascara that separates my lashes and gives them extreme volume and length. So far, I haven’t found any mascaras that can replace this one, I absolutely love it!

Cocoa Butter Lip Therapy by Vaseline

The third item is this lip balm by Vaseline. First, I really love the packaging, super practical to bring everywhere with you and it’s so cute. Second, I love the formula, it’s the only lip product that hydrates and plumps well my lips. Plus, it smells good!

Coconut Oil

I live for Coconut Oil. I use it every night to remove my makeup because it is super gentle on my skin and eyes, it’s a natural anti-oxydant so it purifies and cleans your face and after using it, your face feels so smooth and smells amazing.

Curl & Gloss Mousse by L’Oréal

The fifth item is this mousse by L’Oreal. I use it because my hair is so flat and straight. I used to use the one that gives volume but it didn’t work at all, now I am trying this one. I hope it will give shape to my hair but we’ll see on a long term. Even though I am not sure if it works, I added it to this list cause I use it every time I take my shower.

Dry Shampoo

So my last item, is the dry shampoo by Batiste. I don’t have a photo for this cause I actually finished it [it’s my sister’s, not mine]. I used it a couple of times and I absolutely loved it. As a person who has oily hair but takes her shower three times per week, I need a dry shampoo and this one does wonders.

Sadly, none of these brands are cruelty-free [except for the coconut oil, of course] but I am trying to find dupes for everything

That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this post and if you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to follow my blog.

Good tip on the dry shampoo. Thank you. I go through them so quickly. Have you ever tried Retin A? My dermatologist prescribed it to me to tame my acne over a year ago. xx

No i have not but i’ll see if i can get from my local pharmacy

It helps with acne and anti aging. In the US we can only get it through a dermatologist prescription. Try the lowest dose because your akin will get very dry with the higher dose one. Good luck, 🍀💋

That CC cream sounds brilliant; what skin type do you have? I’ve been wanting a CC or BB cream, but none have worked for my skin x

Combination, but this cc cream is for normal to dry I think!

My hair gets oily really quick especially when I flat iron it. I definitely want to try dry shampoo but I didn’t think it would actually work. Think I’m going to test it out now.

It does work, but i have to apply A LOT for it to work

Uhhh the cc cream sound so good! I wish I could try it but Bourjois is a pain to get here! I’m pretty sure it’s also one of Fleur De Force faves and anything she loves I’m down to try 😀 <3

It is amazing! Such a shame you can’t get it :/ who’s Fleur De Force? 😛

Maybelline mascaras are definitely one of my essentials too! x

I’ve been meaning to try that maybelline mascara! They have so much amazing products, but it is a shame that they’re not cruelty free.

Love this post, that coconut oil is one of my favourites! Love the smell of it x

I love bourjois foundations and the CC cream sounds good. I guess I need to try it.

I’ve heard the Batiste dry shampoo works wonders, but I haven’t tried it yet. I’d like to find a way to cut back on how often I wash my hair, because it’s thin and gets oily quicker. I cut back to every other day, but somedays it gets bad. I’ll have to try a few of the other things you mentioned, like the coconut oil and Vaseline (which I somehow never really used for my lips).

Hahahhaha yes try vaseline and coconut oil! I have very oily hair and i struggles to go without a shower but with time it got better!

      • November 23, 2017 / 9:06 pm

Haha well I’ll definitely have to give it a go then! Hopefully it’ll work for me 😂☺️

I have tried a few dry shampoos and I love Batiste, also. Another one that has worked well for me is Pssst! My hair gets oily really quickly and a good shot of this on my roots really helps!
