Product Review: Vice Lipstick by Urban Decay

Hello my pumpkins and welcome back!

I am back to my blogging routine and today I am reviewing Urban Decay’s Vice lipsticks that I got from Istanbul’s airport. These lipsticks are not new in the market but I recently got them and I thought it would be interesting to do a review on them

So, this collection offers 5 different formulas: Matte, satin, shimmer, high shine and metallic. I own two of the whole collection: Hitch Hike  [matte finish] and Liar [satin finish]. Each retails for 17$ and you get 3.4g of product in each.

PACKAGING

The packaging of this lipstick is sleek, it looks super fancy and edgy, and Urban Decay thought of all the tiny details to make it worth the money. I love this mix of silver and gold and I love how the name of the brand is engraved on the lipstick [now, I am sure the brand’s name is not gonna go anywhere. I have a bad experience with Fenty Beauty’s lipstick: after 2 days of purchasing it, the brand’s name disappeared :P].

By the way, the silver does not get dirty after touching it a thousand times.

Moreover, the packaging is a classic: the shape of the lipstick [and packaging] is typical and to apply the lipstick, you remove the top cover, then roll the lipstick up. Nothing new.

FORMULA

“Get unbelievable laydown of color with just one swipe of Vice Lipstick….Each shade applies smoothly (without dragging or skipping), hugs lips, and feels ultra-comfortable. Urban Decay’s proprietary Pigment Infusion System™ gives the formula its super-creamy texture, rich payout, and superior color dispersion.”

I definitely agree with what Sephora wrote on their website: I really love the formula of these lipsticks, they are so comfortable to wear and they feel lightweight, they are also super pigmented, super creamy, easy to apply and not patchy at all. Even though they are not transfer-proof, they are long-lasting and even when the color fades away, your lips stay a little bit tinted.

‘Liar’ is a gorgeous pinky nude with a shinny finish.

‘Hitch hike’ is more of a statement color, it’s a brick rose but it’s very subtle. Unlike what it claims, it’s doesn’t dry fully to a matte finish but I personally don’t mind.

CONCLUSION

I really love these lipsticks and I am so happy I purchased them, I definitely think they are worth the money because the packing is very pretty and the formula is on point. These lipsticks are perfect to wear on a daily basis as they feel lightweight and comfortable.

That’s it for today. Don’t forget to give this post a ‘like’ and to follow my blog, if you’ve enjoyed reading it.

xx

I love the shades you chose, I have one of them in the sheer finish but it’s completely melted 🙁 maybe it’s the formula, it’s always been like this doesnt’ change with the season but I’m glad yours worked, maybe mine was a bit meh XD I need to check the others 😀 <3
