Good morning my pumpkins,
Today I am reviewing the eyeshadow palette by Morphe. It’s the first eyeshadow palette I ever purchase from the brand and I must say I am very happy that I got it.
This palette is the 35N, it retails for 20$ and it contains 35 matte shades.
First of all, let’s talk about the packaging: it’s made out of plastic, it’s black with the brand name written in bold on the top cover and the number of the palette is written in the back [it’s actually a sticker]. The packaging is very simple as you can see, surely to keep the price down, however, the whole palette weights 56.2 g, which means, each pan has 1.6g of product and I think that’s a lot for 20$.
Concerning the shades, I like the fact that they are all matte and I love the color scheme; I feel like you can create diverse looks with this palette.
Now, let’s talk about the formula: Overall, the eyeshadows are pigmented, easy to blend, and they are not too powdery. Nevertheless, some of the shades are a little but more chalky than others and some shades are more pigmented than others but honestly, for the price point, I don’t mind.
Here are swatches of some of the shades: [two swipes for the two orange shades, one swipe for the rest]
For 20$, I think this palette is so worth it, I mean the eyeshadows perform very well, you get 35 matte shades and each pan weights 1.6g. The only thing that bothered me is the shipping price, it is ridiculously expensive: I paid 28$ for shipping then 50$ to FedEx when I received the package. In total, I paid almost 80$, WTF that’s a lot!!!!
For this price and this quality, I am definitely tempted to buy more eyeshadow palettes from Morphe and I definitely encourage other people to purchase this palette and/or other palettes from the brand.
I will be sharing with you 5 different eye makeup looks using this palette, so stay tuned!!!
That’s it for today, I hope you enjoyed reading this review and if you did, don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to follow my blog.
