Sunset makeup look

Hello my pumpkins,

I hope all is well, today’s post is this makeup look in the photos down below, it kind of reminds me of a sunset, that’s why I called this post ‘sunset makeup look’, even though it has nothing to do with a sunset. Anyways, I created this look to go out pubbing with some friends and I really loved how it turned out.

The products I used are:

Eyeshadow: 35N eyeshadow palette by Morphe [I adore this palette, it is pigmented, so easy to blend and apply yet so cheap!!!!] [BTW, the shades on the photo below doesn’t actually look like this, shade 3 and 4 are actually purple not Bordeaux]

35-palettes-35N_1024x1024.jpg

1: above the crease + lower lash line

2: in the crease + lower lash line but closer to the waterline

3: outer lid to the center lid

4: outer lid

5: Inner lid to the center lid

6: inner corner

Eyeliner, to create the wing line: Eyestudio lasting drama gel eyeliner 24H in shade ‘black’ [not too black and not pigmented, long lasting but patchy] + the black eyeshadow from the morphe palette to darken the wing.

Eyeliner, in the waterline: Glossy Brown Liner by NYX Cosmetics, cc01

Mascara: The colossal big shot mascara by Maybelline [LOVE THIS!!! it gives your lashes intense volume and length]

Primer: Infallible Mattifying Base by L’Oreal [I am actually not liking this product anymore, especially with this horrid weather, I don’t recommend this product for summer]

Foundation: Infallible 24h-Matte by L’Oreal + Dream Satin Liquid by Maybelline [those two can be mixed if you use an oil as a primer or else it will dry out your skin and look cakey]

Concealer: Instant Anti-Age by Maybelline [amazing product, great to cover dark circles, doesn’t crease and long-lasting]

Contour: Master V contour by Maybelline [mentioned this product in my July Favorites, so easy to apply and blend, doesn’t look muddy or patchy]

Powder: Translucent loose powder by Max Factor [if you’ve been following my blog for a while, you probably know that this is my favorite loose powder]

Brows: Brow Satin by Maybelline in shade ‘dark brown’. [pigmented but not creamy and not easy to apply, patchy]

Bronzer: Glam Bronze La Terra by L’Oreal [gives a natural sun kissed look]

Highlighter: Strobe of Genius Illuminating palette by NYX Cosmetics [blinding!!!, check my review here]

Blush: Love Flush by Too Faced in shade ‘Love Hangover’ [pigmented, easy to apply, natural finish]

Lipstick: Velour Liquid Lipstick by Jeffrey Star Cosmetics, in shade ‘Gemini’ [Will be writing a review about it so stay tuned]

Setting Spray: Evian Facial Spray [great to moisturize and set your makeup without making your face look oily]

That’s it for this makeup look, if you found this post to be interesting/useful, please don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to follow my blog.

xx
