L'Oreal Pure-Clay Masks Review

Good morning my pumpkins,

Today, for the first time on my blog, I will be reviewing a skin care product: the L’Oreal Pure-Clay Mask. I own three of the collection: To detox and brighten, to exfoliate and refine, to purify and mattify and each one of them costs 12$ [I paid more cause I live in an expensive country, lol]

I honestly think that these masks are a great deal and are the perfect dupes for the GlamGlow masks. They are supposed to give results in 10 minutes and I must say, it’s the truth: My face always looks so amazing directly after using them.

First of all, let’s talk about the packaging: the way these masks are presented is very simple and clean, I have nothing bad or good to say about it. However, I like the fact that the product is in a transparent glass jar, it’s way more practical, it doesn’t look cheap and it looks pretty [especially that you can see the color of the mask through the jar]. Each masks comes with a spatula but honestly it is not so practical to apply the product with so I wouldn’t recommend using it, instead, I use a flat brush to apply the product evenly on my face.

On top of that, each one of these masks have a different scent; the green and red one smell so amazing and refreshing but the black one has a horrible smell [lol].

I also want to add that there’s so much product in one jar and a little goes a long way.

Now let’s talk about the product itself: the black one [to detox and brighten] is the one I use the most because it is for dull and tired looking skin. Moreover, since I have acne scars, I need a brightening mask to remove them. So, I use it three times per week, I keep it for 10 mins, and then wash off the mask with a hot wet cloth. [I do the same thing for all of them]. I see the results directly when I get out of the shower: my skin looks so pure and bright.

The red one is meant to refine and exfoliate your skin and I must admit that after using it, my skin feels so smooth and my pores are diminished. This mask also leaves your skin looking healthy and glowy.

The green one is to mattify the skin but I barely use it once per month just because it irritates and dries my skin. Even though I have combination skin, I am sure this mask will be perfect for a very oily skin.

In conclusion, these products are definitely a hit for me and I highly recommend them. I think they are a really good investment because, like I previously mentioned, you get a lot of product and you notice the results directly after rinsing off the clay mask.
