My Beach Essentials

Hello my pumpkins,

So for today, I decided to share with you my beach essentials; the things/products I have to get with me every time I go to the beach or pool.

On top of my list is, of course, my “tanning kit”. For my body, I use the intensive tanning oil by Carroten: this oil contains coconut oil, carrot oil, vitamin A, vitamin E and it is supposed to give you a tan and hydrate your skin at the same time [it does not contain UV filters]. I absolutely love this product because it does what it claims to do.

For my face, I use a face cream that gives you a tan but protects your skin at the same time. I love using this cream because I hate exposing my face to the sun yet I feel obliged to because I have to match my face with my tanned body. Nevertheless, I will say that it protects better than it tans.

For my hair, I use a spray by Carroten that protects and moisturizes the hair. It contains vitamins A, E, B5, phytantriol and UV filters. Like the tanning oil, this haircare spray does what it claims to do: protect, shine and moisturize.

For my lips, I use a regular lip balm from Lush Cosmetics. I really love this one cause it hydrates but won’t make your lips look shiny and glossy. I do think that it’s better if you buy a lip balm that contains UV filters because your lips can get burnt.

I store all of these products in my transparent makeup bag that I got from The Body Shop Β  [I do that because I don’t like it when my stuff are all over the place, and I also like to keep my bag clean]

To bring my notebook with me to the beach is a must: I usually write some blogposts, make plans for my blog, organize my week and so forth. While working, I love listening to music, so for me, earphones are an essential.

I am not much into reading, but since I spend hours and hours at the beach, I like to make good use of my time. Moreover, reading while listening to the sound of waves is just so relaxing. Recently, I’ve been reading ‘The Devil & Miss Prym” by Paulo Coelho, so far I am loving it and I advice you to read it.

Finally, when I go to the beach, I always get those items [above] with me: I always need a bottle of water to obviously refresh myself, a hat [to protect my face from the sun and for the look], sunglasses [obviously], shorts [that I wear if I wanna go eat at the restaurant] and flip-flops [Of course].

If you found this post to be useful/interesting, please don’t forget to give it a ‘like’ and to follow my blog.

I like some of his others too. Valkyries wasn’t bad and one with River in the title. Good story teller. South Americans do magic realism so well.

You know I haven’t had a chance to read any of his other books. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone mention any of the others until now. Def going to check them out. The Alchemist was so good I think I wanted to savior the goodness of it

Valkyries was the 3rd. The 2nd was good. Forget the title

Celestine Prophecy wasn’t bad either. Pop psychology. Good though.
